Team 13 article: CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive)

This game began developing in March 2010, but it was released to the public on August 21, 2012.

Counter Strike is one of the most known shooters of the last

year, and this title is the most famous of the company. This game is online FPS (First-person shooter), and has a lot of diferent weapons with differents characteristics. Another characteristic that this game has is that you can trade with real money buying boxes/cases (this was one of the biggest trendings of the last years), and in these boxes people can get different skins on different weapons.

It has also multiplayer and competitive gamemodes, which are 6 mainly: Competitive, Wingman, Casual mode, Arms race, Deathmatch, Demolition. The favourite gamemode for us is the Competitive gamemode. It’s for 10 players in 2 teams (5 in each team). Then the second favourite gamemode is Deathmatch and it’s like a training for the beginning of the day.

This game is the typical game for the E-sport professional scene, but this game has got a lot of mistakes. The game has very unreliable anti-cheat, so in the game there are a lot of hackers with aimbot (automatical targeting on enemy’s head), wallhack (the player can see everything through the wall) and bunnyhop script (automatical jumping with which you can move a lot quicker, so it gives you a bigger advantage) .The hitboxes are another big problem of this game. But if you have a bad day with a lot of exams, for example, you will have a great time with the “great community“, but this community knows how to upset you sometimes.

Jakub Juhás: "I have been playing this game for 2 years, but now I'm not enjoying this game, because it has got a lot of mistakes, the game sometimes/often irritates me and players that I play with are sometimes disloyal and angry people. So I play a lot of other games, but I sometimes turn on this game. It makes me feel nostalgic."

Jakub Janok: "I haven't been playing CS:GO for 4 months, but I enjoyed it 2 years ago when we started playing it. We were playing CS:GO all day after school and it was fun to play some competitive matches together, but even more fun to play against each other (some 1v1s) or another classmates joined so we played in teams of 2 (players). In my opinion, the game is dying now, but I think I'm going to play this game sometimes this year to try some new updates (if there will be any)..."

The price of the game is 14,99 USD/ 12,49 €, but there is an option to purchase in-game skins and weapons (cosmetic looks for weapons) and one of the skins can cost around 1100 USD. But there are cheaper skins, too. They aren't necessary, however, it's a very good bussiness for the company and gives the player a better prestige.
